Dylan Ulrich, Owner & Trainer
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. I spent most of my life being a “jack of all trades” and finding creative ways to make money. When I started studying exercise science and working in the fitness industry, things really clicked for me. I found a passion for helping people and loved the community feel that came along with being a personal trainer. I’ve been training in the Sarasota area ever since I moved here with my wife, Michelle, in 2012. I did a lot of traveling between Downtown buildings at first, and even spent one year training with my firstborn son in a backpack baby carrier when my wife went back to work teaching Kindergarten at the Out-of-Door Academy. Fast forward four years later, I was able to open a more traditional brick and mortar studio, with the vision of offering more than just personal training. Although this all happened just two months before the pandemic hit, I used the mandated closure to my advantage by renovating our space to update the look and tailor it to fit all of the different services we provide. At 10Ten, we take a unique and well-rounded approach to health and fitness. We blend strength training with recovery and offer assisted stretching sessions as well as an infrared sauna and an AI cardio bike. In addition to helping my clients meet their fitness goals, I am equally as passionate about supporting other local businesses within this community and doing whatever I can to help other entrepreneurs find their own success.
Allison Davis, Trainer
I first developed a passion for fitness when I started training in the SuperSlow method. I felt stronger and healthier than I ever had before, all in 60 minutes a week. I became dedicated to learning all about the biohacking method and how efficient, effective, and safe it was. I care deeply about the health and wellbeing of all my clients, and believe in encouraging people to achieve their goals and realize their potential for change. I think that at any age, it’s always possible to work towards a healthier, stronger version of yourself. No matter what you bring to the table, I can always tailor a workout to exactly what you need so that you can get the most out of your experience here!
Aaron Kurtz, Trainer
My journey in the field of health and fitness started with a B.S. degree in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University, and a M.S. degree in Health, Physical Activity & Chronic Disease from the University of Pittsburgh. Before becoming a trainer I performed a clinical internship in cardiopulmonary rehab in a hospital. I then started training at a gym in Sarasota in 2014, where I became certified in the Functional Movement Screen. This helped me become skilled in identifying and correcting improper movement patterns. Soon after, I obtained a certification in the Reflexive Performance Reset, which is a technique to help calm the nervous system to improve performance and decrease pain. My approach to health and fitness has become more holistic with experience and increased learning, and I greatly respect the mind-body connection. In our over-stimulated and stressed out world, having this awareness is a great complement to our training goals. I am excited and grateful to train clients at 10Ten Fitness, where this approach is accepted and appreciated!
